There has been so much publicity visa program in Portugal, widely talked about investing in real estate purpose.

Do you know Portugal offers these special visas to foreigners, unknown to many people. No one talks about these visas, these are pretty low cost visas.

Portugal wants to attract talent, innovative not just rich people who buy real estate.

  1. Startup Visa
  2. Tech Visa
  3. D7 Passive Income Visa

All these visas are issued for 1–2 years with subsequent extensions. Startup visas and tech visas can be applied online.

1. Startup Visa

StartUP Visa is a residence visa for entrepreneurs, which aims to attract to Portugal investment, talent and innovation capacity.

2. Tech Visa

This visa attracts highly qualified staff can access jobs created by Portuguese incorporated companies or startups, in a simplified way.

3. D7 Passive Income Visa

This “type 1" or “D7” visa is ideal for retirees and those who earn passive income. It is a fixed residency. You must be able to prove financial sufficiency to apply for these visas.

Adult — 7200 euro / year
Dependant — 3600 euro /year
